The Little Path

About The Little Path

Started by two KC parents who got tired of Googling "things to do with kids near me" every Saturday morning.

Our Story

The Little Path started as a simple idea: make it easier for Kansas City families to find the good stuff. The nature centers worth visiting. The farm stores with Saturday morning activities. The trails where little legs can actually make it to the end. We keep a growing directory of family-friendly local businesses, publish free printable activity guides, and send a weekly email packed with ideas for the coming week. No ads. No sponsored placements. Just honest recommendations from parents who live here.

Why We Built This

Saturday mornings used to start the same way — one of us would open Google, type "things to do with kids in KC," and get the same ten results we'd already tried. Chain restaurants, overpriced attractions, and listicles from people who clearly don't live here.

So we started keeping a list. Parks with actual shade. Coffee shops that don't mind strollers. Trails short enough for a three-year-old. It grew fast, and friends kept asking for it.

That list turned into The Little Path — a directory and activity guide built by KC parents, for KC parents. No ads, no sponsored placements. Just honest picks from families who've actually been there.
